Rumors have been circulating on social media for some time now that cow's blood has been mixed into Kovasin. The government will have to come forward to explain this rumor. Rejecting the claim, the central government said there was no fact in the matter and it had been misrepresented.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Health said that the newborn calf serum is used only to prepare and develop Texa cells.

Serum from various cows and other animals is used to grow hero cells around the world. This is a global standard process. But it is only used at an early stage. It is not used in the last stage of vaccine production. Thus it cannot be considered part of the vaccine.
