Judgment in Nikita murder case / Nikita murder: Tosif and Rehan convicted, 26th sentence announced

The court has given its verdict in the infamous Nikita Tomar murder case in Faridabad. A Faridabad court has convicted two of the three accused in the case, Tousif and Rehan.

The nurse shot and killed Nikita along with her friend Rehan. The court has announced the release of Azharuddin, the third accused to have provided arms. On March 26, both Faridabad courts will sentence both the convicts.

The accused pleaded guilty on the basis of this evidence

(1) In this murder case, the police produced 55 witnesses before the court. CCTV footage was presented as evidence.

() Tosif's hair was found in the car, in which Tosif and Rehan arrived at the scene and Rehan's fingerprints were found in the car's glass. This scientific evidence was presented in court.

A look at the Nikita massacre

Nikita Tomar, who lives in Hapud, UP, was studying B.Com in Agarwal College. When he left the college on October 26, 2020, Toussaint, a resident of Sohna, met his friend Rehan and tried to abduct Nikita in a car. When Nikita refused to marry, he shot and killed her. 

The incident, which took place on the day, was captured on CCTV and police arrested the accused on the basis of it. The third accused in the case, Azharuddin, handed over the weapon to Toussaint. Accused Tosif also tried to kidnap Nikita in 2018.
