To date, no woman has been hanged

Importantly, a women's gallows was set up in Mathura jail 150 years ago but no woman has been hanged since independence. Senior jail superintendent Shailendra Kumar said the date of execution has not been fixed yet. Shabnam will be hanged as soon as the death warrant arrives.

The gravy will come from Bihar

Prison Superintendent Pawan Jallad was twice sent to inspect the gallows. He saw a shortage in the board which led to the execution rope being ordered from Buxar in Bihar. If there is no hindrance in the final time, Shabnam will be the first woman to be hanged after independence.
