GTU has started academic auditing in all the technical colleges affiliated to the state from this year. In which, for the first time, the preliminary report of the audit conducted by outside experts has been prepared by the university and most of the technical The same is weak and most colleges do not have adequate staff as well as the staff that is qualified with Ph.D.





Compulsory academic auditing has been started from the current year Compulsory academic auditing has been started from this year to improve the quality of education in the technical colleges and to report the shortcomings of the colleges. If there are any shortcomings, action will be taken against them. Apart from this, colleges will also be given grading on the basis of academic parameters-performance.





A format based on 32 criteria was sent In the audit conducted for the first time this year, 18 government and 70 private colleges of degree engineering, 3 government and 47 private colleges of pharmacy and 48 private colleges of MBA were inspected. GTU sent a format to all the colleges based on 32 different criteria including faculty-staff number, research, publication, Ph.D faculty, placement, ICT resources, award-achievement.

Experts were determined by GTU Experts were determined by GTU. The colleges have been audited by 30 experts in degree engineering, 08 in pharmacy and 10 in MBA. According to the suggestions and findings made by the experts after auditing, most of the colleges in the state do not have adequate Ph.d pass staff. Some colleges have only Ph.d principals.

In this regard, the Chancellor of GTU said that in the first audit we have received good response and many colleges do not have adequate staff and there is a shortage of qualified staff. Research is not done especially in colleges. It has come down to having adequate staff and facilities as well as research base work.
